Cortaderia selloana Tiny pampa

Dwarf pampas grass is an ornamental grass that grows to a height of about 0.6-0.8 m. It has long, arching, fibrous leaves with sharp edges. The flower is very decorative, silky, silvery white, and blooms from August to November. The plumes sit on stems that rise above the foliage. It prefers a sunny spot and well-structured soil. Its water needs are moderate; it tolerates drought well, but should be watered after planting. It can be planted in pots or in perennial beds.
